Accompanying this, their second album is a small but well realised Fanzine (in the truest sense of the word) which details their life history as well as documenting their Satanic leanings. From the ashes of MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT, THOMAS THORN leads his group through the dark passageways of Satanic worship.......a passion-fuelled journey which, despite my initial prejudice towards dark Occult clichés, is well worth taking. After the opening mood piece, the album kicks into bright life, a post-Punk energy driving the listener onto the dance floor. The balance between Devil-Worship-Murder-Cult samples and electro-based Torture-Tech-Rock is fine enough for it not to collapse into a farcical self-mockery. What's left is a music which seems at home with the likes of DIATRIBE, CHEMLAB, 16 VOLT etc. They fill the empty space between beats with sampled percussion & myriad voices, balancing force 10 blasters with warmer, slower pieces. Despite the fact that they've slipped all their eggs rather recklessly into one basket image-wise (as with SLEEP CHAMBER's sex/bondage imagery) the music itself is varied & entertaining.
