Horna - Ääniä Yössä download free

This recording represents one of the last great works of the songwriting/recording duo of Shatraug and Corvus. Every second of this album is ominous, violent, druggy and dirgy. The last song, the title track, is the entire second side of this LP. This track has a similar vibe to Russian Forest/Branikald works, however these riffs are more sublime and defined. In this way, it's in the spirit of Burzum's "Hvis Lyset...", without the inclusion of a keyboard atmosphere (which would ruin this piece). The, pure, raunchy guitar tone is not too distorted throughout. The chiming chords NEVER sound bright or tinny. It sounds like the strings are suffocated in dust and decayed flesh. This is a perfect black metal release, and it's like no other past or present black metal albums (even those by Horna). On Ääniä Yössä, Shatraug also perfected the "tough as nails" sounding riff attack, which is comprised of stoic, headbanging power chord riffs, with no frills or lame flourishes. This kills, end of story.
