  • This is dark experimental ambient, with both noise and industrial elements. To describe the album in simple terms; this is psychedelic horror-film music. I always think of the Tetsuo films whenever I listen to this album; it is grey, gritty, metallic, creepy, cold and surreal. Perfect on a rainy day. Its not dark ambient in the same sense as Lustmord, instead the nature of these compositions are more of the experimental kind. It is an unusual concoction of noise, strange soundscapes and the occasional industrial rhythm. Some people would refer to this album as 'antimusic', which aims to defy what you would normally associate with music. In this respect the album has more in common with artists like Aube and Daniel Menche. Regardless of definition, the album delivers a surreal and otherworldly experience, which is exactly what I want from experimental ambient.
